As we continue toward the production, it is clear that we will need a lot of help from our friends to make this happen. There are many different ways you can help out, if you are so inclined. Take a look and please contact us if any of these opportunities interest you. The entire "These People" team would really appreciate it.

- Performance-day help
- Load-in help
- The All-stars Project Benefit
- Press contacts

Performance-day help: We will need a few people at the front of the house at each performance to run the box office, sell concessions, and usher. If you can help out a couple of nights, it helps things go more smoothly.

Load-in help: We move into the theatre about four days before performances begin. On that day (all day into the late evening) and on next day (all day til about 8pm) we will need a team of people who enjoy basic carpentry (cutting, hammering, drilling, etc.) and painting as we bring in and assemble the set. At the same time, we will need people who enjoy climbing ladders to hang lights. All work will be under the able supervision of our experienced set and lighting designers. Obviously you don't need to be there the whole time, but if you have a few hours to spare and enjoy getting your hands dirty, we'd love to have you.

The Benefit: We often try to use our productions as an opportunity to give back to important arts-related causes in the community (for our first show, our beneficiary was the All-Stars Project*). The benefit will consist of a post-performance reception at the theatre or a nearby restaurant. We will need a couple people to host the reception, setting up everything before the guests arrive. We will also need a couple people at the theatre to give out materials on our beneficiary organization, and to sell the Benefit to audience members who want to buy a ticket that night. In addition we could really use a vendor to donate light food (cheese, crackers, etc.) and wine.

Press Contacts: We use a Publicist to help with the press, but if you personally know individuals at the major (or not so major) New York papers, or other media, it would certainly help.

We hope you will get involved. We could really use your help. And it will be a lot of fun for everyone.

Thanks,
Golden Day Productions

*The All-Stars Project is a terrific organization in the city that helps underprivileged kids through performance. They provide participants with all types of performance opportunities, most of which involve works developed by the kids themselves. The program has a great track record of improving self-confidence, communication skills, academic performance, community involvement and career success.
